Deals, media trade on Innovation Forum agenda
LOS ANGELES- Innovation Forum 2013, which convenes here in a few weeks will bring together entertainment industry A-listers who seek to connect with emerging and present generation innovators, innovations, and creative industry business development opportunities in the US and UK entertainment ecosystems.
Media deals and international trade is on the table as a fast-paced morning is said to include a live video transmission Q&A between a senior member of British Government and a top Hollywood executive and several panel discussions
The event is billed as "the first transatlantic technology and content summit – backed by the UK Government and some of the world’s major entertainment groups." A list of confirmed attendees can be found here.
The first day of the Forum will provide a platform for a select group of dynamic UK and US based start-ups in technology, entertainment and digital media to secure significant commercial deals with industry leaders.
On the second day Hollywood executives will work alongside international trade mission guests to forge stronger partnerships between the US and the UK. This fast-paced morning will include a live video transmission Q&A between a senior member of British Government and a top Hollywood executive, three panel discussions focused on: Funding, Digital Media and Entertainment. The final session will be a group brainstorm on: Film Science v Rocket Science.
Sony Studios will host the international guests in the afternoon for a private tour and discussion. The day will be rounded off by a private cocktail and canapés reception celebrating Britain In Hollywood at an exclusive private residence.
